Activities and the EventWhere else can you go on a Friday night in February and ski, snowboard, soak in a hot tub, listen to live music, enjoy a great Summit brew, have access to 10 foot tall Wii stations, and raise money to support a great local nonprofit.
Moonlight Madness will bring together more than 1,000 participants, volunteers, and spectators for an all night party to raise money to support Courage Center's Alpine Ski & Snow Board program.
The $25 registration fee covers everything except the beer and equipment rental. (That’s right; it includes your lift ticket for the night)!

Downhill skiing and snowboarding for beginning- to intermediate-level skiers is offered at these metro ski areas: Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area, Welch Village and Trollhaugen. We also offer skiing at Buena Vista in the Bemidji area and at Spirit Mountain in Duluth. Get one-to-one instruction in stand-up, mono-, bi-skiing or snowboarding for people with physical disabilities and visual impairments. The developmental race team practices at Hyland on Monday nights. A team try out will be scheduled in late December or early January. The season starts in January, but registration starts in the summer. Please note, there is a 200 lb. weight limit for all skiers and snowboarders due to equipment manufacturer specifications and ski instructor safety.
